Snow Leopard Trek

To witness some of the exotic species and one of the rarest animals the Snow leopards, this trek would be definitely the one to take up. Trekkers get to trek through the valley of Rumbak in the Hemis National Park which not only gives you a chance to face some of the rare carnivorous snow leopards but also some other animals like the wild horse, blue sheep, yaks, and different kinds of birds. Himalayan views, palaces of Ladakh, and some ancient histories of the monasteries of Buddhists are few other things to explore in this land. You can also find some of the unique and rich flora and fauna which makes it all worth taking up this trek. It takes about 12 to 13 days to complete the trek and almost takes to an altitude of about 12470 feet above sea level. Most preferably mid-November to mid-March is the month during which this trekking journey can be taken up. 

Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek

The Majestic Kanchenjunga is said to be the third-highest peak in the world and also one of the most stunning mountains in India. Nepal, Tibet, and Sikkim are surrounded by this mountain range. The trek offers some of the amazing views of how landscapes valleys and one understands the true meaning of nature at this place. To complete this trek, it takes about 10 to 11 days. It is believed that Kanchenjunga is a Tibetan name meaning the “five treasures of high snow”. Gold, gems, silver, holy books, and grains are the five treasures mentioned above. This base camp trek is said to be a challenging and exciting one as it is the world’s highest peak at an altitude of about 8586 meters above sea level which is spread to the boundaries of India, Nepal, and Tibet. Darjeeling is well this treks trail begins. Most preferably this trek is taken up from March to June and mid of September to mid of November. 

Kedarkantha Trek

The Kedarkantha trek is located in the region of Uttarakhand of the Himalayas which lies at an altitude of about 11750 feet. This trek is said to be one of the toughest pilgrimages in the Kullu Manali region. The pilgrimage is 35 km in diameter and is one of the toughest to reach. It takes about 10 days to complete this trek which takes the trekkers through some of the beautiful meadows, snow-capped mountains, and alpines. The trek begins from the village of Joan which is about 170 km from the Shimla Valley and also it takes about 200 km by road from Kullu Manali. It is said to be one of the shortest treks that leads from the base of Singhad, this place is said to be the last habitation of this trekking area.

Green Lake Trek

This trekking spot is less explored by most of the crowd. It is said to be in the north of Sikkim which goes through some of the prohibited areas and takes to the green lake which is said to be located on the base of mount Kanchenjunga in the Zemu glacier. This is one of the most challenging and adventurous treks in its own way and one can enjoy the scenery and the nature from this trail. It takes about 15 days to complete this trekking journey. Mid-April to Mid-October is the most recommended time to take up the trek. 

Kalindi Khal Trek

Kalindi Khal to be one of the challenging and adventurous treks in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas in the state of Uttarakhand. This trek offers one of the amazing scenic beauties of the place. It is at an altitude of about 19520 feet above sea level, which takes you to a sky-touching peak to witness some of the enchanting views. The trek begins from the Gangotri and ends by visiting the Badrinath Temple in the valley of Badrinath. This camping tour is said to be nested at peak Shivling’s base, which is at an elevation of 6543 m which has some of the breathtaking sites of the river Gaumukh and river Ganga. This trek also takes you through the regions of Garhwal and proceeds to explore the beauty of the peak Shivalinga towards the valley of Alakananda. It takes almost nine days to complete this trekking journey. The most recommended time to take up this journey is from the month of late June to September.
